Ingredients

  • Gram flour 1 cup
  • Red flour 1 cup
  • Onion 1 (chopped)
  • Tomato 1 – 2 (chopped)
  • Green chili 2 – 3 (chopped)
  • Fresh coriander 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Clarified butter ¼ cup
  • Cumin 1 tbsp (crushed)
  • Coriander 1 tbsp (crushed)
  • Turmeric 1 tbsp
  • Water as required
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Mix gram flour and red flour in a bowl.

  2. Knead green chilies, onion, chopped coriander, turmeric, cumin, crushed coriander, tomatoes and salt with required amount of water to knead the dough.

  3. When the dough gets ready add 2 tbsp clarified butter, mix well and keep aside for 10 to 15 minutes.

  4. Make balls of the dough, roll it to form rotis.

  5. Heat pan and fry roti with clarified butter.
