Tabouli is mouth-watering whole wheat salad with onion, tomatoes, lettuce, spring onion, black pepper, garlic paste, lemon juice, parsley, mint and olive oil. This salad is a great appetier also. If you are on diet then you can eat this salad as complete food too.

Ingredients

  • Wheat 1 cup (boiled)
  • Onion 1 (chopped)
  • Tomatoes 2 (chopped)
  • Lettuce leaves 4 – 5
  • Spring onion 2 – 3 (chopped)
  • Black pepper 1 tsp (chopped)
  • Garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2 – 3 tbsp
  • Parsley or coriander 3 – 4 tbsp (chopped)
  • Mint 3 – 4 tbsp (chopped)
  • Olive oil 3 – 4 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Boil wheat and shift to a mixing bowl.

  2. Now add chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, lettuce leaves, chopped spring onion, black pepper.

  3. And now add garlic paste, lemon juice, chopped parsley or coriander, chopped mint, olive oil and salt.

  4. Mix it thoroughly and serve with lettuce leaves.
