  • Egg noodles 1 packet
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Sesame oil few drops
  • Chicken boneless 300 gm (julienne)
  • Soya sauce 1 cup
  • Spring onion 2 shallots
  • Carrots 2
  • White cabbage 100 gm
  • Capsicum 100 gm
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Boil egg noodles, drain and rinse under cold water.

  2. Marinate chicken in 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4 cup soya sauce and 1 pinch of salt and leave it for 10 – 15 minutes.

  3. Julienne cut the carrots, white cabbage and capsicum.

  4. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok on high flame.

  5. Put 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, fry for 1 minute.

  6. Add marinated chicken, stir fry and add the vegetables.

  7. Toss the vegetables then add the rest of the soya sauce and a few drops of sesame oil.

  8. Keep stirring and season with salt and pepper.

  9. Turn the flame off. Place the egg noodles in a serving platter and top with the prepared chicken.

  10. Chicken chow mien in Cantonese style is ready.
