Ingredients

  • Potatoes 1 kg
  • Tomato puree 1 cup
  • Tomatoes 2-3
  • Tamarind paste ½ cup
  • Green chilies 6-8
  • Cumin 1 tsp (crushed)
  • Black pepper 1 tsp (crushed)
  • Red chili 2 tbsp (crushed)
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Oil 4-5 tbsp
  • Toothpick as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Chaat masala for garnishing
  • Coriander for garnishing

Cooking Directions

  1. In a pan add oil, ginger garlic paste and potatoes, simmer it properly.

  2. When potatoes raise golden brown then add crushed tomatoes, tomato puree, crushed red chili, crushed cumin, crushed black pepper, green chilies and salt to taste with as required water and fry it until potatoes get tender and mixture raise to thick.

  3. In the end add tamarind paste and tender it properly.

  4. When the oil get separate then take out in a dish.

  5. Fixed the toothpicks and sprinkle coriander and chaat masala and serve it.
