Ingredients

  • Fish fillet 300 grams
  • Buns 4
  • Eggs 2
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • White vinegar 3 tbsp
  • Cornflour 1 cup
  • Breadcrumbs 1 cup
  • Mayonnaise 1/2 cup
  • Mustard paste 2 tbsp
  • Lettuce leaves for garnishing
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Cut fish fillets into big squares and rub vinegar, salt, red chilli powder and crushed black pepper on them.

  2. Beat the eggs and put cornflour and breadcrumbs in separate plates.

  3. Dip fish pieces first in cornflour, then in eggs and lastly in breadcrumbs.

  4. Heat oil in a wok and fry fish pieces in it till they turn golden.

  5. Cut buns from the middle and roast them a little.

  6. Place fish pieces on the lower part of buns.

  7. Make a paste of mayonnaise and mustard.

  8. Spread this over the fish pieces and place a lettuce leaf on top of each piece.

  9. Cover with the upper half of buns and serve.
