Ingredients

  • Carrots 1 kg
  • Cardamoms 6 (small)
  • Almonds 10
  • Pistachios 10
  • Sugar 2 cups
  • Walnuts ½ cup (sliced)
  • Dry milk 2 – 3 cups
  • Oil 1 ½ cups
  • Silver paper for garnishing

Cooking Directions

  1. Peel off the skin of carrots and grate them to fine pieces.

  2. In a wok, add oil and cardamoms.

  3. When spice becomes fragrant, add dried and grated carrots and mix together.

  4. Then add dried milk, sugar and walnuts and stir together.

  5. When oil makes a separate layer, your Carrots Halva is ready to serve.

  6. Take out halva on a greased tray and top with sliced almonds and pistachios.

  7. Garnish with silver paper and serve.
