  • Chicken ½ kg (boneless, cut into thin pieces)
  • Long grained rice 2 cup (boiled)
  • Ginger/garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Egg noodles 500 gm (boiled)
  • Tomato ketchup 1 cup
  • Red chili 1 tsp (crushed)
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • White pepper powder ½ tsp
  • Brown sugar 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce 8 tsp
  • Carrot 1 (finely cut)
  • Cabbage 100 gm (finely cut)
  • Capsicum 1 (finely cut)
  • Spring onion 2 (finely cut)
  • Green chili 3 (finely cut)
  • Ginger 1 inch-long piece (grated)
  • Eggs 2 (fried like omelette)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Oil 3 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Put salt, black pepper and 1 tsp soya sauce in chicken and set aside.

  2. Heat oil in wok and fry noodles.

  3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pot, add 1 tsp ginger, garlic paste and fry till golden.

  4. Add chicken and cook till colour changes.

  5. Add tomato ketchup, brown sugar, crushed and powdered red chilies, ¼ tsp white pepper, salt and 3 tsp soya sauce and cook on low flame.

  6. Then heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok and fry remaining ginger, garlic till golden, add vegetables, ginger, ¼ tsp white pepper, salt, 4 tsp soya sauce, eggs and rice.

  7. Mix thoroughly.

  8. Layer a serving dish with rice, chicken and noodles, serve.
