Ingredients

  • Peach 1 tin
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Cinnamon powder ¼ tsp
  • Nutmeg powder ¼ tsp
  • All purpose flour 250 gm
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Milk 250 ml
  • Sugar ¼ cup
  • Butter as required

Cooking Directions

  1. Finely chop peaches.

  2. Then add lemon juice, cinnamon powder and nutmeg powder. Mix well.

  3. In a bowl mix together all purpose flour, baking powder and salt.

  4. Now knead to medium consistency dough with milk.

  5. Roll out the dough, cut into 3 – 4 inches rounds.

  6. Brush edges with water, top with chopped peaches.

  7. Sprinkle with a little sugar, top with another round.

  8. Press the edges very well, brush each packet with butter.

  9. Lastly bake in a preheated oven on 180 degrees for 18 – 20 minutes.

  10. Remove when golden brown.

  11. Cut into halves and serve hot.
