Chicken Mushroom Quiche

For Pastry: Combine flour and butter in a bowl with finger tips till mixture resembles bread crumbs.

Then add egg yolk and knead well.

Refrigerate for 20 minutes.

Now roll out the pastry with a rolling pin in a 9 inch circular bread and set in a round mold.

Bake in 180 degree C preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

For filling: Heat oil in a pan and fry mushrooms and onion.

Then add chicken and fry till golden brown.

Add salt and black pepper.

In a bowl, whisk 3 eggs and add cream into them and mix well to make a creamy mixture.

Add parsley, cheese, paprika and mix well.

Add the fried chicken to this creamy mixture and pour the whole mixture on the baked pastry.

Bake the quiche in a pre-heated oven at 160 - 170 degree for 20 to 30 minutes.

It will be ready when the top turns nice and golden.

Takeout from oven and cut into 8 pieces and serve.
