  • White chick peas 250 gm
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Oil 2 tsp
  • Green chillies chopped 1 tsp
  • Soda 1/4 tsp
  • Nigella seeds 1 pinch
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Soak the chickpeas overnight with a pinch of soda.

  2. In the morning, put chickpeas in a pan with fresh water and boil them on low heat.

  3. When they become half tender, add the rest of the ingredients and boil again till done.

  4. Serve hot with naan.
