A very quick, simple and easy recipe of cheese chicken. Chicken breasts are coated in a cheesy mixture and fried till yummy and tender. You can also top the fried chicken with a cheesy white sauce to make it even cheesier.

  • Chicken breasts 4-6 small
  • Seasoned bread crumbs 1cup
  • Coriander leaves, finely chopped 1 tbsp
  • Lemon zest 1 tbsp
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded finely 50 gm
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Paprika 1/2 tsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Vegetable oil for frying 1 cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Wash and dry chicken breast.

  2. In a flat dish place bread crumbs with coriander, lemon zest , salt, black pepper, paprika and mozzarella and mix well.

  3. In a separate bowl, beat eggs.

  4. Dip chicken breast in eggs then in coating mixture and place them on a plate.

  5. Heat oil in a skillet or pan to medium heat, fry chicken escalope for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. ( depending of size of chicken breast).

  6. Serve with salad, mashed potato or French fries.
