  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • White beans 1/2 kg
  • Onions (chopped) 2
  • Cinnamon 2 sticks
  • Green cardamoms 5
  • Cloves 5
  • Crushed red chillies 1 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic 2 tbsp
  • Olive oil 2 tbsp
  • Baking soda 1 pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chillies (chopped) 4
  • Coriander leaves 1/4 bunch

Cooking Directions

  1. Soak white beans overnight and boil them in a pot.

  2. Do not drain the excess water.

  3. Heat oil in a wok, add cinnamon sticks, green cardamoms and cloves.

  4. Fry. Add crushed garlic and onions, fry till they turn golden.

  5. Add mutton and cook.

  6. When oil appears on the surface, add red chillies, turmeric powder, black pepper and salt.

  7. Mix, and keep cooking.

  8. Transfer mutton to the white beans pot and let it cook on low flame.

  9. Dry the water and take off flame when white beans and mutton get tender.

  10. Garnish with green chillies and coriander leaves before serving.
