Stock is prepared with many recipes this is very sapid and easy recipe of beef stock. You can prepare it and use in winter season to prevent from cold. Give it to kids and entire family they would love its taste.

  • Beef bones with meat 1 kg
  • Olive oil 2 – 3 tbsp
  • Water 18 pint or 9 quarts
  • Carrot 4 (peeled cubes)
  • Onion 2 (unpeeled and halved)
  • Onion 2 (sliced)
  • Heart of celery 1
  • Leek 1 (chopped)
  • Garlic 1 whole (unpeeled and halved cross-wise)
  • Parsley ½ bunch
  • Thyme 15 – 20 sprigs
  • Salt 1-1/2 to 2 tbsp or to taste
  • Whole peppercorns 1 tbsp
  • Juniper berries 8 (or 2 sprigs rosemary, rinsed)
  • Bay leaves 4 – 5
  • Cloves 3 – 4
  • Cardamom 3 whole

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large pan and add bones, fry till brown color for 5 minutes.

  2. Add water and bring to boil on high flame cover and cook for an hour.

  3. Add all ingredients give boil on high heat, turn heat lower and cook for 4 hour on gentle simmer.

  4. Strain through colander lined with cloth into container, squeeze stock well from ingredients.

  5. Cool stock and refrigerate, skim off fats layer from top and use.
