Ingredients

  • Pumpkin 500 gm
  • Tomato 1
  • Green chili 2 – 3
  • Steam rice 1 cup
  • Aniseed 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Garlic 1 tbsp (chopped)
  • Dried mango powder ¼ tsp
  • Fenugreek seed ½ tsp
  • Onion seed ½ tsp
  • Mustard seeds ½ tsp
  • Coriander powder ½ tsp
  • Cumin powder ½ tsp
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Olive oil 2 – 3 tbsp
  • Mint for garnish
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and put fenugreek seeds, onion seeds, aniseed and mustard seeds to fry.

  2. Now add and fry chopped garlic with green chilies.

  3. Then add pieces of pumpkin, aniseed, red chili powder, dried mango powder, fenugreek seed, onion seeds, mustard seeds, coriander powder, cumin powder and turmeric powder and mix well.

  4. Now cook for 4 – 5 minutes on low flame and add sufficient amount of water and cover the lid.

  5. Mix tomato and add pumpkin and cook it on high flame till it tender.

  6. In the end dish it out and garnish with mint leaves.

  7. Serve it with steam rice.
