This cooking technique is something of a miracle. The fish bakes at a low heat right on the platter you will serve it on. No pans to wash! You will know it is done when the fish flakes, but it doesn't change color as much because it keeps its moisture -- no more dried-out fish! And it is so flavorful!

  • Beckti Fillets 2 (150 gms each approx)
  • Lemon Zest of 1/2 lemon
  • Sea Salt to taste
  • Crushed Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh Oregano 1 tsp chopped
  • Fresh Parsley 1 tsp chopped
  • Fresh Thyme 1 tsp chopped
  • Olive Oil
  • Capers 8 to 10
  • Lemon Juice 2 tbsps
  • Crushed Red Chillie flakes to taste
  • Garlic 2 cloves crushed and minced

Cooking Directions

  1. Mix all the ingredients other than the fish together.

  2. Now place the fish in the marinade and leave to rest in the fridge for an hour before baking.

  3. Preheat oven to 200 C.

  4. Place fish in foil parcels and spoon the marinade on top.

  5. Now place in oven and bake for 10 minutes.

  6. Take the try out and open the face and cook for a further 5 minutes.

  7. Serve with sauted vegetables or some salad for a healthy meal!
