  • Chicken (12 pieces) 1 kg
  • Ghee ¾ cup
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 ½ tsp
  • Chili powder 3 tsp
  • Coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric a pinch
  • Green cardamoms 4
  • Clove 6
  • Brown onion (ground) 1/2 cup
  • Garam masala powder ½ tsp
  • Kewra water 1 tbsp
  • Ginger (finely sliced) 1 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. In a pan put ghee with ½ cup water, chicken, beaten yogurt, ginger garlic paste, salt, chili powder, coriander powder,turmeric, green cardamoms, and cloves. Cover and cook till half done.

  2. Add in ground brown onion. Fry for 5 minutes. Add 2 cups water. Cover and cook till chicken tender and thick gravy left.

  3. Lastly, add garam masala, kewra water and serve garnished with ginger sliced.
