Ingredients

  • Radish 400 gms
  • Gram flour 60 gms
  • Cloves (ground) 5
  • Cardamoms (ground) 5
  • Cinnamon powder 3/4 tsp
  • Black cumin seeds 2 tsps
  • Poppy seeds 3 tsps
  • Coconut 60 gms
  • Curd 3 tsps
  • Breadcrumbs 1/4 cup
  • Chopped onion 60 gms
  • Salt to taste
  • Saffron a little
  • Ghee a little
  • Oil for frying

Cooking Directions

  1. Cut off the base and leaves from the radishes.

  2. Prick them with a fork and boil in salted

  3. water for 20 minutes until nearly tender.

  4. Drain well and grind roughly. Now grind

  5. all the spices and coconut to a fine paste

  6. and mix with the gram flour, curd,

  7. powdered saffron and salt to taste.In a little ghee,

  8. fry the onions till golden brown and crisp.

  9. Drain well, grind to a paste and mix with the rest of the ingredients.

  10. Take a little mixture and form into round kababs.

  11. Put breadcrumbs evenly on both sides and shallow

  12. fry in ghee until golden brown. Serve immediately.
