Its a delicious Pakistani & Indian dish that utilizes minced meat apart from the various ingredients. The recipe is very easy to cook just marinate mince then make round shaped kebab after an hour cook on low flame. Acording to some people these kebabs are also very popular in Mughal's cuisine.

  • Mince ½ kg
  • Egg 1
  • Red chilli whole 15
  • Ghee ½ cup
  • Poppy seeds 1 tsp
  • White cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • All spice 1 tbsp (leveled)
  • Raw papaya paste 1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Roasted gram(besan) 2 tbsp
  • Coriander seeds whole 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 3 tbsp
  • Onion brown and ground 3 tbsp
  • Salt 1 ½ tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil, fry whole red chilli, coriander seeds, poppy seeds and white cumin seeds, remove cool and grind finely, keep aside.

  2. Now marinate mince with raw papaya, ginger garlic paste and salt for 1 hour.

  3. Now mix in the mince all the fried and ground masala with roasted and ground gram, also add in a beaten egg, yogurt, coriander leaves, mix well.

  4. Slightly wet your hands and make round kababs, put in a greased pan with ghee and cook for 15 minutes on low flame.

  5. Before serving, garnish with onion rings, lemon slices and mint leaves.
