Boil the macaroni in the water.
Add 1 teaspoon salt to it.
Cook till the macaroni is tender. Do not overcook.
Drain in a colander, arrange on a hot dish and pour the cheese sauce over it.
Sprinkle the cheese, grated pepper and breadcrumbs on the top and dot with the butter.
Bake for 25 minutes in a moderately hot oven until it turns crisp and brown in colour.
