Ingredients

  • Red pumpkin 1/2 kg
  • Chilli powder 1/2
  • Ginger 1/2" piece
  • Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  • Curd 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Ghee or oil for frying

Cooking Directions

  1. Peel the pumpkin, chop into 1" pieces and deep fry in oil or ghee till golden brown and remove.

  2. Heat a little ghee, add all the spices and fry.

  3. Add the fried pumpkin, salt to taste and a little water and cook till tender.

  4. Add well beaten curd and remove from heat.
