  • Boiled rice ½ kg
  • Prawns ½ kg (cleaned)
  • Tomatoes 2 (chopped)
  • Green chillies 4 whole
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • Cream ½ cup
  • Brown onion ½ cup
  • Curry leaves 10 to 12
  • Cumin 1 tsp (roasted and crushed )
  • Coriander 1 tsp (roasted and crushed )
  • Kewra water 1 tbsp
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • Water 1 tbsp
  • Tomato paste 1 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 3 tsp
  • Chilli powder ½ tsp
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Salt 1-½ tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil add 10 to 12 curry leaves with tomatoes.

  2. Fry for 2 minutes.

  3. Add beaten yogurt with turmeric, coriander, chilli powder, tomato paste, garlic paste, lemon juice and green chillies.

  4. Fry well for 5 minutes.

  5. Now add prawns and fry well.

  6. Lastly add cream with coriander leaves.

  7. Now thicken mixture with corn flour mixed with 1 tbsp water.

  8. Then remove from fire.

  9. Boil the rice with pinch of yellow colour.

  10. Then arrange in a circle on the edge of the platter.

  11. Then arrange prawn curry in the middle.

  12. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and fried brown onion.
