Tempuras are thin slices or strips of vegetables or meat dipped in the batter. Cooked bits of tempura are either eaten with dipping sauce or simply tomato ketchup.

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast 2
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • Sesame oil ¼ tsp
  • All pupose flour ½ cup
  • Baking soda 1 pin4ch
  • Water 2 tbsp
  • Oil ½ liter

Cooking Directions

  1. Slice boneless chicken breast into thin pieces.

  2. Marinate with ginger garlic paste, salt and black pepper, soya sauce and sesame oil for half hour.

  3. In a bowl, add plain flour, eggs, salt n black pepper, sweet soda and water, mix well to form smooth paste.

  4. In a wok, heat oil for frying on medium flame.

  5. Dip marinated chicken in this mixture and fry till golden brown.

  6. Chicken tempura is ready to be served with your favorite dip.
