Wash both dals together.
Add turmeric and salt and cook with enough water to cover.
Keep aside. Heat ghee in a pan.
Add coriander, cumin and mustard seeds.
Saute till they splutter.
Add red chilli powder and ginger.
Saute for about 1-2 minutes.
Pour the above mixture over dal.
Add a little water and bring to a boil.
Add lemon juice and garam masala.
Garnish with coriander. Serve hot.
