  • Potatoes 250 gm (sliced)
  • Carrot 250 gm (sliced)
  • Capsicum 250 gm (sliced)
  • Onion 250 gm (sliced)
  • For batter:
  • All purpose flour 1 cup
  • Gram flour 1 cup
  • Corn flour ½ cup
  • Red chili powder 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Oyster sauce 2 tbsp
  • Baking soda ½ tsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt as required

Cooking Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl add the all purpose flour, gram flour, corn flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, all spice powder, garlic paste, oyster sauce, baking soda and salt.

  2. Mix all the ingredients well to form a thick batter.

  3. Heat oil in a pan.

  4. Dip the sliced vegetables in the batter and deep fry.

  5. The vegetable tempuras are ready to serve.
