Try to buy the smallest shrimps available so that they may be mixed into the batter whole.
In a mixing bowl put flour and add a little water to make a batter.
Slice onions very fine and chop chilies.
Add onions, chilies, pomegranate seeds, soda bicarbonate, salt and shrimps to the gram flour batter.
Blend well. Heat the ghee in a kerai until really hot.
Drop a tsp of batter at a time into the ghee and fry in lots of 6-8 pakoras.
Deep-fry until brown evenly all over.
Serve hot with tomato sauce or any kind of chutney.
