Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken (large bite size pieces) 400 gm
  • Egg 1
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Milk 1/4 cup
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Oil as needed for frying
  • For Batter:
  • Plain flour 3 tbsp
  • Corn flour 3tbsp
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Marinate chicken in salt, black pepper, egg, milk and lemon juice for 10 minutes.

  2. For Batter: Mix plain flour, corn flour, baking powder, black pepper and salt to make a thick paste with the help of water.

  3. Now heat oil, dip chicken pieces in batter and fry till crispy golden brown .

  4. Serve hot with ketchup and french fries.

  1. You have said to add the marinate the chicken with salt, black pepper, egg, milk and lemon juice. But won't the lemon juice make the milk curdle ?
