Ingredients

  • Yellow lentils 250 gm
  • Somosa strips 15 – 20
  • Onion 2 (chopped)
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander ½ bunch
  • Green chilli 3 – 4
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt as required

Cooking Directions

  1. Wash the yellow lentils and soak overnight

  2. strain water and dry lentil.

  3. Heat a pan and add the lentils along with the black pepper powder, red chilli powder, all spice powder, cumin powder and turmeric powder.

  4. Cook for 3 – 4 minutes then add little water.

  5. When the lentils dry turn the flame off and allow cooling.

  6. Now spread this mixture onto each somosa strip and fold in samosa shape.

  7. Heat oil in a deep skillet.

  8. And now deep fry the samosas.

  9. Serve hot with chutney.
