  • Grewia ½ kg
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Black salt ½ tsp
  • Rose water 2 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Soak grewia overnight in water in the fridge.

  2. Next day blend into a smooth puree.

  3. Sieve and remove pulp; discard seeds.

  4. Mix grewia puree with sugar, lemon juice, rose water, black salt and blend again.

  5. Fill mixture into plastic glasses, cover the top of glass with foil.

  6. Insert a wooden ice-cream stick into mixture through the foil and keep it in the freezer for 8 to 10 hours or until set.
