In a mixing bowl whip eggs with the help of a beater until it is fluffy.
Now beat in icing sugar and butter.
Then add baking powder, dissolve coffee in warm water, add it to the mixture.
Beat again and then fold in fine flour.
Pour the batter into a greased baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200C for 25 – 30 minutes.
Melt the cooking chocolate in a double boiler.
Add the coffee and icing sugar and mix well.
Add the corn flour and stir the mixture.
Remove the cake from the oven and cool on a wire rack.
Spread the icing over the top of the cake.
Garnish with grated chocolate or coffee beans and serve generous slices.
