Make a single cut on each of the lady fingers and keep aside
Heat oil in a wok and sauté fenugreek seeds till they start giving out their aroma.
Then add the sliced onions and fry until they become transparent.
Add the tomatoes and fry until the water dries up.
Add ginger garlic paste, lady fingers, turmeric powder, nigella seeds, red chilli flakes, aniseed, cumin seeds, curry leaves, green chillies and fry for 2 minutes.
Now add the tamarind paste and stir properly.
Cover and cook on low flame for 10 to 15 minutes.
Sprinkle salt when serving.
