Ingredients

  • Rice 2 cup
  • Bay leaves 1 – 2
  • Cloves 4 – 5
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Fennel seeds ½ tsp
  • Whole black pepper ½ tsp
  • Tamarind paste 2 tbsp
  • Clarified butter 2 – 3 bsp
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Wash rice and soak it for 1 – 2 hours.

  2. Now strain the rice, boil and set aside.

  3. Then in a pan heat the clarified butter and fry fennel seeds, black pepper, cloves and bay leaf.

  4. Now add ginger garlic paste in a same pan and fry it properly.

  5. Then add turmeric, salt and rice mix it and fry on low flame.

  6. Now simmer it and serve hot.
