Ingredients

  • Clarified butter 1 kg
  • Sugar 1 kg
  • All purpose flour ½ kg
  • Baking soda ½ tsp
  • Yogurt 1 tsp
  • Solid milk 250 gm
  • Cardamom seeds 5 - 6
  • Pistachio as required
  • Almond as required

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat clarified butter in a skillet.

  2. Add clarified butter, water, baking soda and yogurt in a bowl and mix well.

  3. Then add all purpose flour and knead well and make balls.

  4. Then spread balls and fill with solid milk and fold it.

  5. Then fry in clarified butter.

  6. Combine sugar and water in a skillet and prepare sugar syrup.

  7. Then dip fried gujiya in sugar syrup.

  8. Take out in dish and garnish with almond and pistachio.
