Shish Taouk is Turkish kababs. Marinated Cubes of chicken, skewered with veges cubes. It has many versions in other Arabic countries with little bit difference. Must try and serve these delicious shish taouk.

Ingredients

  • Chicken cubes 500 gm
  • Yogurt ¼ cup
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Thyme ¼ tsp
  • Oregano ¼ tsp
  • All spice mixture ¼ tsp
  • Cumin powder ½ tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder ½ tsp
  • Tomato paste 1 tbsp
  • Onion 1
  • Tomato 1
  • Capsicum 1
  • Bamboo skewer 8- 10

Cooking Directions

  1. Put chicken cubes, yogurt, oil, garlic paste, lemon juice, thyme, oregano, all spice mixture, cumin powder, salt, black pepper powder and tomato paste in bowl and keep to marinate.

  2. Place one piece of chicken, onion, tomato and capsicum on single bamboo skewer and then grill them.

  3. Delicious Shish tauk is ready to serve.
