Ingredients

  • For Tikka:
  • Chicken 12 pieces
  • Curd 2-3 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • All spices powder 1 tsp
  • Oil
  • For Gravy:
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Tomatoes 1 pao
  • Onion 1
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp or to taste
  • All spices powder 1/2 tsp
  • Dill seed 1/3 tsp
  • Cumin seed 1 tsp
  • Green chillies 8
  • Green coriander leaves 2 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. For Tikka: Wash chicken and put curd, all spices powder, red chilli, ginger garlic paste mix well and marinate for 30 minutes.

  2. Heat oil in a pan put marinated chicken and cover lid let it cook till chicken tender.

  3. For Gravy: Heat oil fry onion put tomatoes and cook till tomatoes get soften.

  4. Add cumin seed, red chilli powder, salt and all spices powder mix and cook 2 minutes more. 

  5. Put dill seed, green chillies and coriander leaves cover lid let it cook for 2 minutes more.

  6. Add this gravy to the chicken and mix well.

  7. Heat up a peice of coal, place ontop of chicken and splash a little hot oil quickly and cover with a lid straight away.

  8. After a few minutes remove lid.

  9. Serve with salad and naan.
