Ingredients

  • Semolina 1 cup
  • Coconut ½ cup (desiccated)
  • Water ½ cup
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Clarified butter ½ cup
  • Cardamom ¾ tsp (crushed)
  • Powdered milk 1 cup
  • Flaked coconut 3 tbsp for topping

Cooking Directions

  1. Make sugar syrup with water and sugar till thick syrup made.

  2. Heat clarified butter, add green cardamom with semolina.

  3. Fry on low flame for at least 10 minutes.

  4. Now add in prepared sugar syrup.

  5. Immediately add powdered milk and desiccated coconut, mix well fast.

  6. Pour mixture immediately in a greased level.

  7. Cut into pieces.

  8. Garnish with flaked coconut and leave till set.

  9. Note: Tray should be well greased and foil lined.
