Ingredients

  • Prawns 1/2 kg
  • Sliced tomatoes 2
  • Vinegar 2 tsp
  • Oil as needed
  • Curry leaves a few
  • Grind together:
  • 4 cloves of garlic and 1" piece ginger to a fine paste
  • Chili powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 3 tsp
  • Coconut (grated) 1
  • Medium sized onion 1
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Clean prawns.

  2. Heat oil and fry the curry leaves.

  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for a while.

  4. Add the ground spices and continue to fry till the spices leaves the sides of the pan.

  5. Add 1/2 cup water and add the tomatoes.

  6. Add the prawns. Simmer till prawns are done.

  7. Add vinegar, mix well and remove from flame.
