  • Cottage cheese 8 oz (cut into square)
  • Capsicum 1 (cut into square)
  • Tomato 1 (remove seeds and cut into square piece)
  • Chat Masala as required
  • Oil for deep frying
  • For Batter:
  • Yellow lentils flour ½ cup
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies 1 (chopped)
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Baking powder ¼ tsp
  • Chili powder ½ tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Dry mango powder ¼ tsp
  • All spice ¼ tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. For Batter:

  2. In a bowl mix together yellow lentils flour, corn flour, coriander leaves, chopped green chilies, salt, baking powder and chili powder.

  3. Then add coriander powder, dry mango powder, all spice and tandoori color with water, beat well to form into a coating consistency batter.

  4. Thread capsicum then add cottage cheese cube and tomato piece on each tooth pick.

  5. Heat oil for deep frying.

  6. Dip the toothpicks in the prepared batter, shape off excess batter, deep fry till golden.

  7. Serve sprinkled with chat Masala.
