Ingredients

  • Milk 1 kg
  • Vermicelli 1/2 cup
  • Dried dates 6 (soak in hot water and remove seeds)
  • Almonds 12 (blanched and slivered)
  • Pistachios 12 (blanched and slivered)
  • Small cardamoms 6
  • Cloves 4
  • Sugar 2 1/2 cup
  • Dalda Banaspati 2 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Boil milk and leave to cool.

  2. In a pan heat banaspati and add cloves and cardamoms.

  3. After 2 minutes fry vermicelli and take it out.

  4. In the same banaspati fry the nuts and then add milk.

  5. When milk starts to boil add vermicelli and sugar and simmer for 20 minutes.

  6. Leave to cool and then serve.
