Melt the butter in a pan with hot water.
In the meantime beat the eggs until fluffy.
Gradually beat in the sugar until the mixture thickens and the sugar completely dissolves.
Then gradually beat in the white flour.
Then add the baking powder.
Quickly fold in the melted butter and hot water in the mixture.
Pour the batter in a greased baking tray.
Bake in a pre heated oven at 350F for 30 minutes.
For Chocolate Icing:
In a double boiler sift the icing sugar and cocoa powder.
Add butter, milk and stir with a wooden spoon, mixing thoroughly.
Continue stirring until the icing sugar coats the back of the spoon.
Cut the cake into squares.
Hold each piece of cake with a fork then dip it into the icing.
Hold for two minutes to drain off the excess chocolate.
Then coat each piece in coconut powder.
Leave the cake pieces to dry off.
