Ingredients

  • Plain flour 3 cups
  • Milk 2 cups
  • Eggs 3
  • Yeast 2 tsp
  • Baking powder ½ tsp
  • Sugar 4 tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Oil ½ cup
  • For Filling:
  • Sugar ½ cup
  • Cashew Nuts 1 tbsp (chopped)
  • Almonds 1 tbsp (chopped)
  • Egg 1 (for egg wash)

Cooking Directions

  1. In a bowl add the flour, yeast, eggs, baking powder, sugar, salt and oil.

  2. Now add the milk and mix all the ingredients well.

  3. Knead into a smooth dough.

  4. Cover the dough and set aside for 1 hour.

  5. For Filling: Now take the dough and by using your hand or a rolling pin, roll the dough into a naan.

  6. Sprinkle sugar and dry fruits on top of the naan.

  7. And then fold the edges of the dough up over the stuffing and pinch it together to enclose the stuffing.

  8. With the help of brush apply the egg on top of the naan.

  9. Bake at 200C.
