  • Green chilies 2 (finely chopped)
  • Eggs white 2
  • Coriander 1 bunch (finely chopped)
  • Potatoes ½ kg (boiled)
  • Rice flour ½ cup
  • Black pepper 1 tsp (crushed)
  • Red chili 1 tbsp (crushed)
  • Salt as required
  • For Gravy:
  • Green chilies 2 (finely chopped)
  • Brown onions 3
  • Coriander 1 bunch (finely chopped)
  • Fresh cream 1 packet
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. To prepare the koftas mash the boiled potatoes.

  2. Add red chili, black pepper coriander, green chilies.

  3. Rice flour and a pinch of salt to the mashed potatoes and mix well.

  4. Shape the potato mixture into medium sized koftas, dip in beaten egg white and fry.

  5. For Gravy:

  6. Heat oil in a deep skillet and fry onions till they turn brown.

  7. Remove and place on an absorbent paper.

  8. In a mixing bowl, add yogurt, brown onions, red chili powder, all spice powder, ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder.

  9. Mix the ingredients well and in the same deep skillet pour the yogurt mixture and dry on a medium flame till the oil forms a separate layer on top.

  10. Add the potato koftas.

  11. Fry for 2 – 3 minutes then add a cup of lukewarm water, after cooking for 5 minutes add fresh cream and stir.

  12. Garnish with chopped coriander and green chilies.

  13. Serve with naan.
