Preheat oven to 180 degree C.
Melt butter in a small pan then cool butter at room temperature.
Grease your Madeleine baking pan.
Beat eggs with salt till triple in volume about 5 minutes.
Slowly add the sugar, whip for another 2 minutes.
Add vanilla essence, sprinkle the flour on top of egg batter and gently fold in.
Now fold in the butter mixture very lightly to bring everything together, spoon the batter in to the molds.
Filling each mold ¾ full, bake for 12 minutes until the edges of Madeleine are golden brown.
Remove from oven and unmold immediately, cool on a wire rack, dust with icing sugar.
