  • wholewheat flour 175g (6oz)
  • oatmeal 50g (2oz)
  • soft brown suger 25g (1oz)
  • baking powder 1 and a half tsp
  • cayenne pepper (optional) half tsp
  • fresh milk 15 ml (1tbsp)
  • salt a pinch

Cooking Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl apart from the milk.

  2. Add the milk slowly until a soft dough is formed.

  3. Roll out the dough onto a floured board to 3mm (1/8 inch ) thick.

  4. Using a biscuit cutter cut out shapes and place on a greased baking tray.

  5. Bake at 180 degree c/,Gas 4 for 15-20 minutes until firm and golden.

  6. Cool on a wire rack and store in an air tight jar.
