  • For Dough
  • Flour 2 ¾ cups
  • Sugar ¼ cup
  • Instant yeast 2 ½ tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Water ¼ cup
  • Vanilla essence 1tsp
  • Eggs 2
  • For Filling
  • Butter 4 tbsp
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Cinnamon powder 1 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Mix the dry ingredients to bowl.

  2. Combine the butter and milk in sauce pan over medium heat, when butter is melted, remove and cool.

  3. Mix together milk mixture, water, vanilla essence and eggs.

  4. Add this mixture slowly in dry ingredients and knead to form dough; add addition flour if required, kneed for 5 minutes.

  5. Transfer the dough to a lightly greased bowl, cover and leave it for raised 1 hour.

  6. In another sauce pan melt butter, keep aside. Mix together cinnamon and sugar in small bowl.

  7. Punch down dough. Remove the dough to a lightly flour surface roll into a ball, roll the dough into a rectangle.

  8. Brush the dough with butter, sprinkle sugar cinnamon mixture over the dough.

  9. Lightly greased the pan. Slice the dough vertically into 6 even strips stack strips of the top of each other, again cut into 6 equal slices, stalk all the square of top of each other and put into prepare loaf pan.

  10. Cover and leave for 30 minutes. Now put in a pre heated oven at 180 degree C for 30 minutes.

  11. Remove from oven. Leave it in a pan for 30 minutes and carefully turn the loaf out.
