Ingredients

  • Cabbage 500gm (chopped)
  • Peas 250 gm (boiled)
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Onion 1 (finely cut)
  • Fennel seeds 1 tsp (crushed)
  • Red chilies 5 (break from center)
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes 3
  • Fresh coriander ¼ bunch (chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil ¼ cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil in a pot, fry the mustard and cumin seeds.

  2. Add the onion and fennel seeds and cook till the onion softens.

  3. Add red chilies, turmeric, salt, coriander powder, red chilli powder and cabbage.

  4. Fry for 5 minutes.

  5. Add tomatoes, peas and fresh coriander and fry for few minutes.

  6. Cook on low flame.

  7. Increase flame after 5 minutes and cook till water dries.

  8. Serve bhujiya.
