Kachomer Gobi - A one of a kind, interesting cauliflower dish. Cauliflower is grated before cooking. You can also add a little chicken mince to this dish and give it a meaty touch.

  • Cauliflower 1 kg
  • Chopped onion 1/4 kg
  • Medium tomatoes 2-3
  • Cloves of garlic 3-4
  • Coriander powder 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Turmeric powder A pinch
  • Oil as needed
  • Green coriander leaves as required

Cooking Directions

  1. Grate the cauliflower.

  2. Brown the chopped onion in oil, add garlic and chopped tomatoes.

  3. Keep stirring till a rich colour is obtained.

  4. Add dry spices, stir and add the grated cauliflower and water.

  5. Sprinkle chopped coriander.

  6. Cover and simmer till all water has evaporated.
