  • Sugar 1 1/2 cups
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Saffron a pinch
  • Almonds and pistachios a handful

Cooking Directions

  1. Soak rice in a little milk.

  2. Boil 2 litres of milk.

  3. After a little while, add the soaked rice.

  4. Boil till the rice is cooked.

  5. Add sugar and boil for 10 more minutes.

  6. Add saffron, cardamom, sliced almonds and pistachios.

  7. Serve hot or cold.
