Ingredients

  • Chicken 1 kg (whole)
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Allspice ½ tsp
  • For Paste:
  • Tomato 1 small
  • Onion 2 tbsp (fried)
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Mint leaves 8 – 10
  • Green chili 6
  • Yogurt 4 tbsp
  • For Stuffing:
  • Egg 2 (boiled)
  • Plum 6 (dried)
  • Onion 1 (chopped)
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Green chilies 3 (chopped)

Cooking Directions

  1. For Paste: Grind together all spices.

  2. Marinate chicken with ground paste, salt, chili powder, lemon juice, ginger garlic and allspice, prick well.

  3. Leave to marinate for 1 hour.

  4. Fill chicken with stuffing and tie with thread.

  5. Heat oil and fry chicken on low heat on both the sides till light golden.

  6. Add remaining spices with half cup water.

  7. Leave it to cook on low flame.

  8. Serve with fries.
