This baked tart is filled with dry fruits, cherries sultanas and orange rinds. Its garnished with jam and serve. Great for your party along with meal or after meal as dessert.

  • Egg yolk 1
  • Butter 112 grams
  • Refined flour 168 grams
  • Caster sugar 56 grams
  • Vanilla essence few drops
  • For filling:
  • Eggs 2
  • Pistachios chopped 1 tbsp
  • Walnut chopped 1 tbsp
  • Cinnamon ¼ tsp
  • Raisins 2 tbsp
  • Orange rind grated 2 tbsp
  • Almonds 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Glazed red cherries 2 tbsp
  • Glazed green cherries 2 tbsp
  • Sultanas 2 tbsp
  • Jam 3 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Beat butter, sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl till frothy.

  2. Add egg yolk and beat.

  3. Fold in refined flour.

  4. Knead into soft dough, roll out.

  5. With the help of a cutter, cut into rounds and place on a muffin tray.

  6. Mix raisins, orange rind, walnuts, red and green cherries, sultanas, pistachios, cinnamon, almonds and eggs in a bowl.

  7. Put 1 tbsp of mixture on each tart.

  8. Bake in pre-heated oven at 180°c for 20 minutes.

  9. Apply jam on sides of each tart, garnish with pistachios and serve.
