  • Dry apricots ½ kg
  • Water 1 litre
  • Sugar 250 gm
  • Vanilla custard 3 tbsp
  • Milk ½ litre
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Cream ½ cup
  • Almond 15 – 20 (crushed)

Cooking Directions

  1. Deseed the dry apricots, cut them into two halves and cook until they are tender.

  2. In saucepan heat water along with 250 gm sugar until syrup is formed.

  3. In a blender blend together the sugar syrup and cooked apricots.

  4. Pour into a dish.

  5. Add vanilla custard and ½ cup of water in a bowl and mix well.

  6. Boil milk in a separate pan and add 2 tbsp sugar and finally add vanilla custard mixture. Mix well.

  7. When custard prepare then stove off.

  8. Prepare the vanilla custard and pour the apricot puree on top.

  9. Beat cream and pour over the apricots.

  10. Garnish with almonds and serve.
